Credit Risk Manager
Your role
In this 2nd line of defense position as Credit Risk Manager, you will also gain exposure to IRR, liquidity risk and also ERM and business risk, making it a broad all-round FRM position. Key responsibilities are:
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, providing a second line opinion on a wide variety of strategic matters related to credit risk;
- Validate credit risk portfolio analysis;
- Play a pivotal role in a variety of strategic projects and advise risk committees on strategic changes, portfolio- and product reviews;
- Help the Risk Team in its role to keep oversight and control over the entire credit risk balance sheet of the organization.
Your profile
- You are a team player and University Graduate with a Master and at least 5-7 years of working experience;
- Working experience in either Business, (Credit) Risk, Finance and/or 3rd LoD (Internal Audit);
- Knowledge of and/or interest in supra-Credit Risk subjects such as ICAAP, RAS, Management Control Cycle, etc;
- You provide sharp, concise analyses and are able to strategically advise Risk Committees (EERC, BRC, GRC, IPC, GPAC);
- You are independent but have no trouble working in a team or on projects;
- You are aware of the strategy of the Client Units and (Credit) Risk and familiar with the processes within Risk Management;
- Knowledge of applicable Credit Risk laws and regulations e.g. CRR, Basel, EBA guidelines;
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and ideally also Dutch, however fluent Dutch is not necessary to be considered for the role;
- Expertise in Financial Services and strong project management skills are advantageous.

They have been issuing, promoting, administrating, and processing payments of Visa and Mastercard credit cards for over 30 years.

You'll work in a dynamic environment, in close collaboration with the other members of the Risk team (consisting of both Financial and Non-financial risk), the MT, the bank, and colleagues in the business. Employment conditions
- Salary up to a maximum of €109.000,- per year, all-in on the basis of 40 hours (with 36 hours also being possible)
