Business Developer SIRA
Your role
As Business Developer SIRA, you will play an important role in shaping the organization's Client Integrity (CI) SIRA, in close collaboration with the bank, of which the organization in question is a 100% subsidiary.
You will be responsible for:
- Formulating and further shaping the Client Integrity SIRA, in which the most important risks and areas of attention are highlighted and clearly identified from the client perspective.
- Continually analyze internal and external developments in the area of FEC research, client behaviour, and internal feedback-loop information with regards to KYC/CDD, Transaction Monitoring, NCTO, and Exit. This information will be used for identification of (and changes in) main risks and areas of attention.
Your profile
An experienced business developer is being sought who has earned her/his spurs in the areas of SIRA, KYC/CDD and Transaction Monitoring within a banking organization, a financial organization or consultancy. Sounds like a potential fit? Check your profile:
- Master’s degree in a relevant area of knowledge.
- Minimal 5 years of experience, of which 2 years with regards to FEC policy and regulations, AML, CFT, and sanctions.
- Explicit experience in successful identification and limitation of client integrity risks.
- Excellent communication skills (both in Dutch and English) to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to different audiences, including senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Affinity with risk and audit related activities.
- Wide experience with and knowledge of SIRA, KYC/CDD, Client Monitoring, Risk Based Approach.
- Demonstrates resilience and adaptability, through challenges, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Highly values collaboration, inter-team effectiveness, and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrates ownership by taking responsibility for one's actions, decisions, and their consequences, demonstrating accountability and commitment towards achieving goals or resolving issues.

Our client is a 100% subsidiary of one of the Dutch pillar banks, operating with its own independent banking license. It is a market leader in issuing credit cards in the Netherlands, with a subsidiary in Germany. They have been issuing, promoting, administrating, and processing payments of Visa and Mastercard credit cards for over 30 years.

The organization is currently changing in order to serve customers and the market even better, with the safety and reliability of their services being at the cornerstone of this change. They are rebalancing their business model, which means challenging and exciting times ahead, with new governance being introduced at the end of 2024. A new department "Product, Solutions & Control" (PSC) has been established, consisting of 6 highly interconnected domains who work together with all other departments and relevant stakeholders. The following domains are within PSC: products, generic processes, change management, data management, risk & regulations and client integrity, with this role being located in the client integrity area.

- Gross monthly salary of between € 6.066 - € 8.665 - based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. Should you wish to work 40 hours, that is also possible, with salary being pro-rated. The benefit budget is 11% of your salary, and this allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month;
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year;
- Personal development budget of EUR 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to EUR 3,000;
